## SEC. 1952.13 AVAILABILITY TO STATES OF GRANT PAYMENTS **[**300x–62**]** Any amounts paid to a State for a fiscal year under section 1911 or 1921 shall be available for obligation and expenditure until the end of the fiscal year following the fiscal year for which the amounts were paid. 13Section 1952 appears according to the probable intent of the Congress. Section 3403(b) of Public Law 106–310 (114 Stat. 1220) provides that the section “is amended as follows:”. No amendatory instructions were then given, but a substitute text was provided. The amendment probably should have instructed that section 1952 “is amended to read as follows:”.
