## SEC. 1042 MODIFICATION OF NOTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR SENSITIVE MILITARY OPERATIONS Section 130f(d) of title 10, United States Code, is amended— ####
(1)by striking “(1) Except as provided in paragraph (2), in” and inserting “In”; ####
(2)by striking paragraph (2); ####
(3)by redesignating subparagraphs
(A)and
(B)as paragraphs
(1)and (2), respectively; ####
(4)in paragraph (1), as so redesignated, by striking “; or” and inserting a semicolon; ####
(5)in paragraph (2), as so redesignated, by striking the period at the end and inserting “; or”; and ####
(6)by adding at the end the following new paragraph: > > #### “(3) > > an operation conducted by the armed forces to free an individual from the control of hostile foreign forces.” > .
