## Sec. 609Y.1 authorization of appropriations **[**[34 U.S.C. 50112](/us/usc/t34/s50112)**]** ###
(a)There is authorized to be appropriated $20,000,000 for each fiscal year ending after September 30, 2022, to provide under this subdivision federal law enforcement assistance in the form of funds. ###
(b)There are authorized to be appropriated for each fiscal year ending after September 30, 1984, such sums as may be necessary to provide under this subdivision Federal law enforcement assistance other than funds. 1This section is contained in subdivision A of division I of Chapter VI of Public Law 98–473 (98 Stat. 2077). Such division may be cited as the “Justice Assistance Act of 1984” pursuant to section 601 of such Public Law. * * * * * * * ## CHAPTER XIV VICTIM COMPENSATION AND ASSISTANCE
