On April 11, 2003, CITA agreed to Taiwan's request for special shift for 2003 of 9.1 million square meters equivalent into Group I from Group II. That directive concerns imports of certain cotton, wool, man-made fiber, silk blend and other vegetable fiber textiles and textile products, produced or manufactured in Taiwan and exported during the twelve-month period which began on January 1, 2003 and extends through December 31, 2003.
