§85A-67. Notice of occupational disease or cumulative trauma.

A. Except as otherwise provided in this section, notice of disability resulting from an occupational disease or cumulative trauma shall be the same as in cases of accidental injury.
B. Written notice shall be given to the employer of an occupational disease or cumulative trauma by the employee, or a representative of the employee in the case of incapacity or death, within six
(6)months after the first distinct manifestation of the disease or cumulative trauma or within six
