§56-602. Definitions.

As used in the Oklahoma Family Support Act:
1. "Department" means the Department of Human Services;
2. "Family" means a family member and his or her parent or legal guardian; and
3. "Family member" means a person less than eighteen
(18)years of age with developmental or intellectual disability as defined in Section 1408 of Title 10 of the Oklahoma Statutes. Added by Laws 1992, c. 277, § 2, eff. July 1, 1992. Amended by Laws 2019, c. 475, § 34, eff. Nov. 1, 2019.
