§40-3-708. Delinquent payments.

DELINQUENT PAYMENTS. If the Commission finds that any organization, instrumentality of the state or its political subdivisions, including public trusts, has become delinquent with payments required under the act and following the Commission's written request for such payment, has for sixty
(60)days or more thereafter refused or failed to pay amounts due and required under this act, the Commission shall notify the State Budget Director of
such delinquency and total amount due. The Budget Director shall authorize payment of such amounts from any funds deposited with the State Treasurer, which would otherwise be due from the state to such organization, instrumentality or political subdivision.
