§40-141.4. Application of rules and regulations.

A. Twelve
(12)months from the date upon which the rules and regulations under this act become effective, all new boilers and pressure vessels for use in this state shall conform to such rules and regulations.
B. If a boiler or pressure vessel is of special design or construction, and cannot comply with the construction requirements of the rules and regulations of this act, a special installation and operating permit may be granted by the Commissioner of Labor at his discretion, provided the user presents evidence acceptable to the Commissioner.
C. Welded steam lines - Downstream steam lines fabricated or repaired by welding, operated at in excess of fifteen
(15)pounds per square inch gauge shall be fabricated, inspected and tested in accordance with applicable rules and regulations. Added by Laws 1982, c. 252, § 4.
