44:7-10. Duties of secretary-treasurer; bond

The secretary-treasurer of the county welfare board shall receive from the county treasurer of his respective county such sums as shall represent the county's appropriation for old age assistance and the administration thereof as herein provided, and shall receive from the State such sums as represent the State's share for old age assistance and the administration thereof as provided in sections 44:7-25 to 44:7-27 of this Title, and shall cause said sums to be set up in a special account or accounts subject to disbursement by the county welfare board in accordance with this chapter.
Said secretary-treasurer shall furnish bond conditioned on the faithful performance of his duties, in an amount to be fixed by the welfare board, subject to the approval of the State division.
