43:21-19.2. Effective date and application of Act

This act shall take effect and become operative immediately, and shall apply to all benefits payable with respect to benefit years beginning on or after said date, and any benefits accruing to any individual on or after said date with respect to benefit years beginning before said date, shall not be recomputed under this act as to the total amount or weekly rate thereof, and shall be paid for either total or partial unemployment, in accordance with subsection
(b)of section 43:21-3 of this chapter, without the necessity of serving any additional waiting period.
