Section 80. In carrying out the provisions of sections seventy-four to eighty-four, inclusive, the commission shall cooperate with relevant federal agencies and shall develop a state plan including such methods of administration as are found by said agencies and the commission to be necessary for the proper and efficient operation of the commission, to assure that full financial benefits of all federal laws may be available to the commonwealth and the citizens thereof.
The commission is authorized to enter into an agreement on behalf of the commonwealth with relevant federal agencies to carry out the provisions of the federal social security act relating to the making of determinations of disability 42 USC 1381 to 1383(c), inclusive, of said act, and to appoint such agents or assistants as may be necessary to administer the provisions of such agreements.
