Section 116D. The municipal police training committee shall provide instruction, under section 96B of chapter 41, on the policies and procedures developed under clause
(9)of section 183/4 of chapter 6A for the identification and immediate protection, care and custody of minors whose parents or guardians are arrested or placed in custody by police officers. The instruction shall be provided in the recruit basic training curriculum, in-service officers training, courses of supervisory training, and dispatcher and communication officer training.
