Sec. 15-5-5. Eminent domain powers in ILCS Chapters 5 through 40. The following provisions of law may include express grants of the power to acquire property by condemnation or eminent domain:

facilities in Cook County.
Director of Natural Resources, and the Director of Central Management Services; for lands, buildings, and grounds for which an appropriation is made by the General Assembly.
achieve the objectives of the economic development project.
Opportunity; for a federal high energy BEV Particle Accelerator.
Economic Opportunity; for coal projects.
Resources; for reclamation purposes.
Resources; for reclamation purposes and for the construction or rehabilitation of housing.
Resources; for eliminating hazards.
buildings and grounds for which an appropriation is made by the General Assembly.
