Sec. 6z-145. Office of Statewide Pretrial Services State Projects Fund. The Office of Statewide Pretrial Services State Projects Fund is established as a State trust fund in the State treasury. Moneys received by the Office of Statewide Pretrial Services from interagency agreements, interagency receipts from other State agencies and agencies from other states, private organizations, individuals, foundations, and nonprofit organizations for projects related to the purposes of Public Act 101-652 and Public Act 102-1104, commonly known as the Safety, Accountability, Fairness and Equity-Today (SAFE-T) Act, shall be deposited into the Fund.
Moneys in the Fund shall be held by the State Treasurer as ex officio custodian and shall be used by the Office of Statewide Pretrial Services, subject to appropriation, for the specific purposes established by the terms and conditions of the grant or award and for other authorized expenses in accordance with State requirements. Other moneys deposited into the Fund may be used for purposes associated with the State-financed projects.
