Sec. 3-107.1. Access by law enforcement officials and agencies. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act, the Attorney General, the State's Attorneys and various law enforcement agencies of this State and its political subdivisions shall have full and open access to any facility pursuant to Article 108 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963 in the exercise of their investigatory and prosecutorial powers in the enforcement of the criminal laws of this State. Furthermore, the Attorney General, the State's Attorneys and law enforcement agencies of this State shall inform the Department of any violations of this Act of which they have knowledge.
Disclosure of matters before a grand jury shall be made in accordance with Section 112-6 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963.
