Sec. 30-17.1. Scholarships-Draft Registration. Each applicant for any student financial aid funded in whole or in part by this State, whether granted by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission, granted pursuant to any of Sections 30-1 through 30-16.6 or otherwise granted by any State supported college or university, and whether to be used at a State supported institution of higher learning or at a private institution, shall submit to the institution he or she is attending Selective Service registration compliance documentation as required by Part 668 of Title 34 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
If an applicant for or holder of any such student financial aid fails to submit documentation in the manner and within the time allowed, any pending application of such person for the award, grant, or renewal of any such student financial aid shall be denied, and any such student financial aid currently held by such person shall be revoked to the extent that no further payments under that student financial aid may be made. Procedures for notification and administrative review shall be consistent with Part 668 of Title 34 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
