332.15 Advanced air mobility.

The Department of Transportation shall:
(1)Address the need for vertiports, advanced air mobility, and other advances in aviation technology in the statewide aviation system plan required under s. 332.006
(1)and, as appropriate, in the department’s work program.
(2)Designate a subject matter expert on advanced air mobility within the department to serve as a resource for local jurisdictions navigating advances in aviation technology.
(3)Conduct a review of airport hazard zone regulations.
(4)In coordination with the Department of Commerce, provide coordination and assistance for the development of a viable advanced air mobility system plan in this state. The department shall incorporate the plan into the statewide aviation system plan required under s. 332.006
(1)to identify and develop statewide corridors of need and opportunities for industry growth.
