253.29 Board of trustees to refund money paid where title to land fails.

Any person having heretofore, or who may hereafter purchase in good faith and for value, any lands in the state from the Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund of the state, and which title has failed by reason of the fact that the Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund had no title or right to convey the same, the Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund shall refund to said party the sums of money so paid for said lands without interest thereon upon due proof being made.
