A person who willfully becomes a member of a designated foreign terrorist organization and serves under the direction or control of that organization with the intent to further the illegal acts of the organization commits a felony of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 , s. 775.083 , or s. 775.084 . As used in this section, the term “designated foreign terrorist organization” has the same meaning as provided in s. 775.32 .
