The director and the chairperson of the board shall, when requested, but no less than annually, appear before the appropriate policy committees in the Assembly and Senate to provide an update on the department’s performance as compared to its objectives, including, but not limited to, metrics established pursuant to paragraph
(4)of subdivision
(b)of Section 25125.2, the department’s progress in implementing any reform measures, and any other information the committees request.
