Part B of the Impoundment Control Act of 1974 ( 2 U.S.C. 682 et seq. ), as amended by section 2221(a), is further amended by adding at the end the following: Each department or agency shall— notify the Committee on the Budget and the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives, the Committee on the Budget and the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate, and any other appropriate congressional committees if— an apportionment is not made in the required time period provided in section 1513(b) of title 31, United States Code; an approved apportionment received by the department or agency conditions the availability of an appropriation on further action; or an approved apportionment received by the department or agency may hinder the prudent obligation of such appropriation or the execution of a program, project, or activity by such department or agency; and include in each notification under paragraph
(1)information identifying the bureau, account name, appropriation name, and Treasury Appropriation Fund Symbol or fund account. . The table of contents of the Congressional Budget and Impoundment Control Act of 1974 set forth in section 1(b) of such Act, as amended by section 2221(b), is further amended by inserting after the item relating to section 1018 the following: Sec. 1019. Reporting on apportionment of appropriations by departments and agencies. .
