Section 646(e)(1) of the Head Start Act ( 42 U.S.C. 9841(e)(1) ) is amended— by striking Indian tribe each place it appears and inserting Indian tribe, Native Hawaiian organization, or Native Hawaiian educational organization ; in subparagraph (B), by striking the tribe the first place it appears and inserting the Indian tribe, Native Hawaiian organization, or Native Hawaiian educational organization ; and except as described in paragraph
(2)of this section, by striking the tribe each place it appears and inserting the Indian tribe or Native Hawaiian community involved .
