Section 184(b)(5)(A) of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1992 (12 U.S.C. 1715z–13a(b)(5)(A)) is amended to read as follows: The loan shall— be made for a term not exceeding 30 years, except as determined by the Secretary, when there is a loan modification under subsection (h)(1)(B), the loan shall not exceed 40 years; . Section 184A(c)(5)(A) of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1992 (12 U.S.C. 1715z–13b(c)(5)(A)) is amended to read as follows: The loan shall— be made for a term not exceeding 30 years; except, as determined by the Secretary, when there is a loan modification under subsection (i)(1)(B) the term of the loan shall not exceed 40 years; .
