Section 4305(a)(3) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 ( 20 U.S.C. 7221d(a)(3) ) is amended— in subparagraph (A), in the matter preceding clause (i), by striking disseminate and inserting provide support and ; in subparagraph (B), by inserting identify and before disseminate ; by redesignating subparagraph
(C)as subparagraph (D); and by inserting the following after subparagraph (B): support activities related to— charter schools’ access to facilities, and facilities funding and financing; charter school authorizer quality and oversight; supporting States that have enacted legislation (within a period of 5 years prior to the award of a grant under this section) for such purpose to facilitate the authorization of charter schools within such States; and identifying best practices that support, or remove barriers to, early-stage charter school planning, charter schools serving rural students, charter schools serving students with disabilities, and innovative models. .
