Section 640(a) of the Post-Katrina Emergency Management Reform Act of 2006 ( 6 U.S.C. 727(a) ) is amended, in the matter preceding paragraph (1), by striking , in coordination with the Chief Information Officer of the Department, . Section 901(b)(2) of title 31, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following: The Federal Emergency Management Agency. . Subsection
(c)of section 612 of the Post-Katrina Emergency Management Reform Act of 2006 ( 6 U.S.C. 313 note) is repealed. The amendments made by this section shall take effect on the date on which the transfers of functions under section 6 are carried out.
