Sec. 5205. Job share and part-time employment opportunities

The Secretary shall establish and publish a Department policy on job share and part-time employment opportunities. The policy shall include a template for job-sharing arrangements, a database of job share and part-time employment opportunities, and a point of contact in the Bureau of Human Resources. The Secretary shall incorporate training on workplace flexibility, including the availability of job share and part-time employment opportunities, into employee onboarding. Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, and annually thereafter for three years, the Secretary shall submit to the appropriate congressional committees a report on workplace flexibility at the Department, including data on the number of employees utilizing job share or part-time employment arrangements.
The policy described in subsection
(a)shall not apply to officers and employees of the Bureau of Intelligence and Research.
