Sec. 702. Lower Las Vegas Wash weirs

Subject to valid existing rights, the availability of appropriations, and all applicable laws, the Secretary shall complete construction of the 6 erosion control weirs on the lower Las Vegas Wash within the Lake Mead National Recreation Area that are unfinished as of the date of enactment of this Act, as identified in the study of the Federal Highway Administration entitled 2010 Lower Las Vegas Wash Planning Study . It is the intent of Congress that the construction of the weirs described in subsection

(a)be completed by the Secretary by not later than 8 years after the date of enactment of this Act.
