Section 865 of the Public Health Service Act ( 42 U.S.C. 298 ) is amended— in subsection (a), by striking the elderly and inserting older individuals ; in subsection (b)— in paragraph (1), by striking the elderly and inserting older individuals ; in paragraph (2), by striking treatment and all that follows and inserting health care needs of older individuals; ; and in paragraph (5), by striking the elderly population and inserting older individuals ; in subsection (d)— in the heading, by striking and inserting Eligible Entity ;
Definitions by striking For purposes of this section, the term and inserting “For purposes of this section: The term ; and by adding at the end the following: The term older individual has the meaning given such term in section 102 of the Older Americans Act of 1965. ; and in subsection (e), by striking years and all that follows and inserting years 2026 through 2030. .
