Nothing in this Act shall be construed to modify, limit, or supersede the operation of any privacy or security provision in the following: Section 552a of title 5, United States Code (commonly known as the Privacy Act of 1974 ). The Right to Financial Privacy Act of 1978 ( 12 U.S.C. 3401 et seq. ). The Fair Credit Reporting Act ( 15 U.S.C. 1681 et seq. ). The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( 15 U.S.C. 1692 et seq. ). The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 ( 15 U.S.C. 6501 et seq. ).

Title V of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act ( 15 U.S.C. 6801 et seq. ). Chapter 119, 123, or 206 of title 18, United States Code. Section 444 of the General Education Provisions Act ( 20 U.S.C. 1232g ) (commonly known as the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 ). Section 445 of the General Education Provisions Act ( 20 U.S.C. 1232h ). The Privacy Protection Act of 1980 ( 42 U.S.C. 2000aa et seq. ). The regulations promulgated under section 264(c) of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 ( 42 U.S.C. 1320d–2 note), as those regulations relate to— a person described in section 1172(a) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1320d–1(a) ); or transactions referred to in section 1173(a)(1) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1320d–2(a)(1) ).

The Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act ( 47 U.S.C. 1001 et seq. ). Section 222, 227, 338, or 631 of the Communications Act of 1934 ( 47 U.S.C. 222 , 227, 338, or 551). The E-Government Act of 2002 ( 44 U.S.C. 101 et seq. ). The Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 ( 44 U.S.C. 3501 et seq. ). The Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002 ( 44 U.S.C. 3541 et seq. ). The Currency and Foreign Transactions Reporting Act of 1970, as amended (commonly known as the Bank Secrecy Act ) (12 U.S.C. 1829b and 1951–1959, 31 U.S.C. 5311–5314 and 5316–5332), including the International Money Laundering Abatement and Financial Anti-Terrorism Act of 2001, title III of Public Law 107–56 , as amended.

The Consumer Financial Protection Act of 2010 ( 12 U.S.C. 5481 et seq. ). The Equal Credit Opportunity Act ( 15 U.S.C. 1691 et seq. ). The Age Discrimination in Employment Act ( 29 U.S.C. 621 et seq. ).

The Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act ( Public Law 110–233 , 122 Stat. 881). Subpart A of part 46 of title 45, Code of Federal Regulations (commonly known as the Common Rule ). The Driver’s Privacy Protection Act of 1994 ( 18 U.S.C. 2721 et seq. ). The Video Privacy Protection Act ( 18 U.S.C. 2710 et seq. ). Chapters 61, 68, 75, and 76 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. Section 1106 of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1306 ). The Stored Communications Act ( 18 U.S.C. 2701 et seq. ).

Any other privacy or information security provision of Federal law.
