Effective on December 31, 2026, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 ( 50 U.S.C. 1801 et seq. ) is amended— in section 701(b)(4) ( 50 U.S.C. 1881(b)(4) )— in subparagraph (D), by adding or at the end; by striking subparagraph (E); by redesignating subparagraph
(F)as subparagraph (E); and in subparagraph (E), as so redesignated— by striking custodian, ; and by striking (D), or
