Section 1109(a) of the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act of 1989 ( 12 U.S.C. 3338(a) ) is amended, in the matter following clause

(ii)of paragraph (4)(B), by adding at the end the following: Subject to the approval of the Council, the Appraisal Subcommittee may adjust fees established under clause

(i)or

(ii)to carry out its functions under this Act. .
