None of the funds appropriated herein or hereafter may be used to— enforce the National Firearms Act ( 26 U.S.C. 5801 et seq. ) regarding any firearm for which the tax imposed under section 5811 or 5821 of such Act is $0 pursuant to the One Big Beautiful Bill Act; investigate, prosecute, or otherwise pursue any criminal or civil action, including the imposition of any penalty under the National Firearms Act for any firearm described in paragraph (1). Notwithstanding any other provision of law, herein and hereafter, no violation of federal law shall accrue and no person shall be considered in violation of the National Firearms Act, or any other Federal, State, or local law that incorporates by reference the National Firearms Act, with respect to a firearm described in subsection (a)(1).
