Section 512(a)(1)(B)(ii) of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 ( 43 U.S.C. 1772(a)(1)(B)(ii) ) is amended by striking 10 and inserting 150 . Section 512(c)(3)(E) of such Act ( 43 U.S.C. 1772(c)(3)(E) ) is amended— in clause (i), by striking and at the end; in clause (ii), by striking the period and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following: consulting with a private landowner with respect to any hazard trees identified for removal from land owned by the private landowner. . Section 512(c)(4)(A)(iv) of such Act ( 43 U.S.C. 1772(c)(4)(A)(iv) ) is amended to read as follows: ensures that— a plan submitted without a modification under clause
(iii)shall be automatically approved 120 days after being submitted; and with respect to a plan submitted with a modification under clause (iii), if not approved within 120 days after being submitted, the Secretary concerned shall develop and submit a letter to the owner and operator describing— a detailed timeline (to conclude within 165 days after the submission of the plan) for completing review of the plan; any identified deficiencies with the plan and specific opportunities for the owner and operator to address such deficiencies; and any other relevant information, as determined by the Secretary concerned. .
