In this title: The terms child care certificate , child with a disability , family child care provider , lead agency , Secretary , and State have the meanings given the terms in section 658P of the Child Care and Development Block Grant Act of 1990 ( 42 U.S.C. 9858n ). The terms Indian Tribe and Tribal organization have the meanings given the terms Indian tribe and tribal organization in section 658P of that Act. The term eligible child care provider means— an eligible child care provider as defined in section 658P of the Child Care and Development Block Grant Act of 1990; and an eligible child care provider as defined in title I.
The term infant or toddler means an individual who is less than 3 years of age. The term infant or toddler with a disability has the meaning given the term in section 101(b). The term provider type means a type that is— a center-based child care provider; a family child care provider; or another non-center-based child care provider.
