Chapter 388 of title 10, United States Code, is amended— in section 4952— by redesignating paragraphs
(1)and
(2)as paragraphs
(2)and (3); by inserting before paragraph (2), as so redesignated, the following new paragraph: to support the growth and resiliency of the industrial base by accelerating innovation, fostering ingenuity of business entities, and establishing resilient supply chains; ; in paragraph (2), as so redesignated, by striking and at the end; in paragraph (3), as so redesignated, by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by inserting after paragraph
(3)the following new paragraph: to mitigate costs of entry for business entities that improve the technology capabilities of the Department of Defense. ; and in section 4961— in paragraph (1), by striking and at the end; in paragraph (2)(B), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following new paragraph: an amount determined appropriate by the Secretary to establish one or more centers of excellence to provide to individuals or eligible entities that provide procurement technical assistance pursuant to this chapter training necessary to fulfill the purpose of the program under section 4952 of this title. .
