Section 672(1) of the Community Services Block Grant Act ( 42 U.S.C. 9901(1) ) is amended to read as follows: to reduce poverty in the United States by supporting the activities of community action agencies and other community services network organizations that improve the economic security of low-income and working individuals and families, empower them to become fully sufficient, and create new economic opportunities in the communities where they live; and .
