In this Act: Except as otherwise provided, the term appropriate congressional committees means the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate. The term internet has the meaning given such term in section 231(e)(3) of the Communications Act of ( 47 U.S.C. 231(e)(3) ). The term personally identifiable information means data in a form that identifies a particular person.
