Sec. 107. Codification of a Special Coordinator for Ukrainian Reconstruction

There is established within the Department of State a Special Coordinator for Ukrainian Reconstruction. The Special Coordinator shall be chosen by the Secretary of State and shall report directly to the Secretary. The Special Coordinator shall be an individual with— private sector experience; and knowledge of Ukraine and foreign policy pertaining thereto. The Special Coordinator shall assist in— harnessing the tools of different agencies of the United States Government to promote the reconstruction of Ukraine; coordinate cooperation amongst different agencies and bureaus of the United States Government to aid the recovery of Ukraine following its war to protect its sovereignty; and work with the United States Development Finance Corporation to mobilize private capital for the reconstruction of Ukraine.
