The North Korea Sanctions and Policy Enhancement Act of 2016 is amended as follows: In section 401(a) ( 22 U.S.C. 9251(a) )— in paragraph (5), by striking and at the end; in paragraph (6), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following: halting material support (as such term is defined in section 6 of the Russia-North Korea Cooperation Sanctions Act) for Russia’s illegal war in Ukraine. . In section 402(2) ( 22 U.S.C. 9252(2) )— in subparagraph (D), by striking and at the end; in subparagraph (E)(ii), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following: halting material support (as such term is defined in section 6 of the Russia-North Korea Cooperation Sanctions Act) for Russia’s illegal war in Ukraine. .
