Section 302 of the Help America Vote Act of 2002 ( 52 U.S.C. 21082 ), as amended by section 301(a), is amended— by redesignating subsection
(e)as subsection (f); and by inserting after subsection
(d)the following new subsection: Each State shall ensure that the procedures used for the administration of elections for Federal office in the State, including the procedures used to determine the conditions under which individuals may cast provisional ballots and the criteria for the acceptance and rejection of provisional ballots, are standardized and uniform for all jurisdictions in the State which administer such elections. . Section 302(f) of such Act, as redesignated by subsection
(a)and as amended by section 301(b), is amended by striking subsection
(d)and inserting subsections
(d)and
(e).
