All Federal coal reserves leased under Federal Coal Lease MTM 97988 located within the covered Federal land are authorized to be mined in accordance with the Bull Mountains Mining Plan Modification. In this section: The term Bull Mountains Mining Plan Modification means the Mine No. 1, Amendment 3 mining plan modification for Federal coal lease MTM 97988 described in the memorandum of the Department of the Interior titled Recommendation regarding the previously approved mining plan modification for Federal Lease MTM–97988 at Signal Peak Energy, LLC’s Bull Mountains Mine No.1, located in Musselshell and Yellowstone Counties, Montana (November 18, 2020).
The term covered Federal land means the following land comprising approximately 800 acres: The NE 1/4 of sec. 8, T. 6 N., R. 27 E., Montana Principal Meridian. The SW 1/4 of sec. 10, T. 6 N., R. 27 E., Montana Principal Meridian. The W ½ , SE 1/4 of sec. 22, T. 6 N., R. 27 E., Montana Principal Meridian.
