Section 217(h)(3)(B) of the Immigration and Nationality Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1187(h)(3)(B) ) is amended— in clause (i)— in subclause (I), by striking and at the end; in subclause (II)— by inserting after an amount the following of not less than $10 ; and by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following: not less than $13. ; in clause (ii)— by striking Amounts collected under clause (i)(I) and inserting the following: Notwithstanding any other provision of law, of the amounts collected under clause (i)(I) during a fiscal year, not more than $20,000,000 ; by inserting before the period at the end of the first sentence the following: , and the remainder of the amounts collected under clause (i)(I) shall be credited as offsetting receipts and deposited in the general fund of the Treasury ; and by inserting after to pay the costs incurred to administer the System. the following:
Amounts collected under clause (i)(III) shall be credited as offsetting receipts and deposited in the general fund of the Treasury. ; in clause (iii), by striking 2028 and inserting 2034 ; and by adding at the end the following: Beginning in fiscal year 2026 and each fiscal year thereafter, the amount specified in clause (i)(II) for a fiscal year shall be equal to the sum of— the amount imposed under this subsection for the prior fiscal year; and the amount referred to in subclause (I), multiplied by the percentage (if any) by which the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers for the month of July preceding the date on which such adjustment takes effect exceeds the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers for the same month of the preceding calendar year. .
