In addition to amounts otherwise available, there is appropriated to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for fiscal year 2025, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $1,320,000,000 to remain available until September 30, 2029, for the purposes described in subsection (b). Amounts made available under subsection
(a)shall only be used for purposes of hiring additional support staff and attorneys within the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor to represent the Department of Homeland Security in removal proceedings.
