Section 428F(a)(5) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 ( 20 U.S.C. 1078–6(a)(5) ) is amended by striking one time and inserting two times . Section 464(h)(1)(D) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 ( 20 U.S.C. 1087dd(h)(1)(D) ) is amended by striking once and inserting twice . The amendments made by this subsection shall take effect on the date of enactment of this Act, and shall apply with respect to any loan made, insured, or guaranteed under title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 ( 20 U.S.C. 1070 et seq. ).
Section 428F(a)(1)(B) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 ( 20 U.S.C. 1078–6(a)(1)(B) ) is amended by adding at the end the following: With respect a loan made under part D on or after July 1, 2025, a monthly payment amount described in subparagraph
(A)may not be less than $10. .
