In addition to amounts otherwise available, there is appropriated to the Inspector General of the Department of Defense for fiscal year 2025, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $10,000,000, to remain available through September 30, 2029, to carry out this section. The Inspector General shall monitor Department of Defense activities for which funding is appropriated in this title, including— programs with mutual technological dependencies; programs with related data management and data ownership considerations; programs particularly vulnerable to supply chain disruptions and long lead time components; and programs involving classified matters.
Not later than 30 days after the date of the enactment of this title, the Chairs of the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and House of Representatives shall jointly transmit to the Department of Defense a classified memorandum regarding amounts made available in this title related to classified matters.
