In addition to amounts otherwise available, there is appropriated to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for fiscal year 2025, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $600,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2029, for the purpose described in subsection (b). The funds made available under subsection
(a)shall only be used for the purpose of facilitating the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of additional U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement personnel to carry out immigration enforcement, including by investments in information technology, recruitment, marketing, and staff necessary for such activities.
