In addition to amounts otherwise available, there is appropriated to the Executive Office for Immigration Review for fiscal year 2025, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $1,250,000,000 to remain available until September 30, 2029, for the purposes described in subsection (b). Amounts made available under subsection
(a)shall only be used for purposes of— hiring the support staff necessary to support immigration judges; hiring immigration judges; and expanding courtroom capacity and infrastructure.
