Sec. 70001. Applicability of the immigration laws

Notwithstanding any provision of the immigration laws (as defined under section 101 of the Immigration and Nationality Act), the fees under this subtitle shall apply. The terms used under this subtitle shall have the meanings given such terms in section 101 of the Immigration and Nationality Act. Except as otherwise expressly provided, whenever this subtitle references a section or other provision, the reference shall be considered to be to a section or other provision of the Immigration and Nationality Act.
