Section 108 of the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 ( 25 U.S.C. 4117 ) is amended to read as follows: There are authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary such sums as are necessary to provide grants under this title for fiscal year 2025 and each fiscal year thereafter. On October 1, 2025, and on each October 1 thereafter, out of any funds in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the Secretary of the Treasury shall transfer to the Secretary to provide grants under this title $2,500,000,000, to remain available until expended. The amount made available under paragraph
(1)for fiscal year 2026 and each fiscal year thereafter shall be adjusted annually to reflect the change in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The Secretary shall be entitled to receive, shall accept, and shall use to provide grants under this title the funds transferred under paragraph (1), without further appropriation. . The table of sections in section 1(b) of the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 ( Public Law 104–330 ; 110 Stat. 4016) is amended by striking the item relating to section 108 and inserting the following: 108.
