Sec. 307. Bureau of Indian Education school construction, modernization, and repair

Subject to subsection (b), there are authorized to be appropriated for the costs of construction, facilities improvement, modernization, repair, and replacement school construction for Bureau-funded schools, including sanitation, non-mechanical heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system repair and replacement, and there are appropriated, out of any monies in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated— $1,000,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2025 through 2029; and $264,300,000 for fiscal year 2030 and each fiscal year thereafter.
The amount made available under subsection (a)(2) for fiscal year 2031 and each fiscal year thereafter shall be adjusted annually to reflect the change in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
